Mount Kosciuszko summit hike
Day 7 - 30th of March
Our first full day in New South Wales promised to be as exciting as the day before. Today we'd be ascending Australia’s highest peak: Mount Kosciuszko. At 2228m altitude some would say there’s nothing really exciting about this peak but we’re definitely excited!
The day starts early as it’s still a 18,3km hike leaving from Charlotte Pass and takes somewhere around 5 hours to summit way and back.
We returned to Island Bend Campground for another night in Kosciuszko National Park.
